Day 1 |
Arrival to Leh (3500 m). Airport pick-up and transfer to a hotel (suite room with a terrace). In the morning, a short rest for acclimatization. In the afternoon, visit to Sindhu Ghat (at the bank of Indus river), Shey palace, Thiksey monastery and Stok palace museum. Overnight in a hotel. |
Day 2 |
Visit to Hall of Fame, Spituk monastery, Gurudwara Pather Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangham (confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers), Likir and Alchi monasteries. Return to Leh. Overnight in a hotel. |
Day 3 |
Day trip to the Pangong lake via Chang La pass (5360 m) for almost 10 hrs. Lunch in the restaurant on the bank of Pangong lake. Return to Leh. Overnight in a hotel. |
Day 4 |
Half a day trip to the Khardung La, one of the highest motorable road passes (5359 m), which is situated on the ancient Silk Route. Return to Leh. In the afternoon, visit to the Leh palace and Namgyal Tsemo gompa. In the evening, visit to the Shanti Stupa to see sunset. Overnight in a hotel. |

Transfer to the airport. |
